Data-deletion instructions

Updated October 10, 2026

Disconnect an account

Open Book Social Publisher, choose Accounts, and use Disconnect for the relevant network. This removes its saved account authorization tokens from the app. You can also remove the app from the connected-app or business-integration settings on Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest. Revoking access prevents future use of that authorization.

Remove local Publisher data

Close the Publisher before removing its data. On the Windows computer where it runs, its saved account settings and encrypted credentials are in %LOCALAPPDATA%\BaileyPublisher. Removing that folder removes all saved connections, settings, and publishing records for both campaigns. It does not remove campaign text or media from the separate Publisher application folder.

Deleting publishing records removes duplicate-post safeguards. Do not publish previously completed campaign jobs again without checking the social account. If you have copies, backups, or synced campaign files, remove those separately when you no longer need them.

Published posts and public images

Disconnecting or deleting local data does not delete posts from Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest. Delete those through the network that hosts them. Public campaign images uploaded to a website must be removed from that website separately; deleting a local copy does not remove the public copy.

Correspondence and assistance

To request deletion of information you sent to Bailey Bear Books, email contact@baileybearbooks.com with the subject “Privacy or deletion request.” For help with Publisher data, email cj@cjcornell.com. Tell us which service and information your request concerns. Do not send passwords, app secrets, or account tokens. We may ask for enough information to verify the request and locate the relevant records.
